I didn’t set out to become a wigmaker. I became one because life changed—and somewhere along the way, wigmaking changed me too.

After more than 25 years behind the salon chair, my career took an unexpected turn when I stepped away to care for my son following a near-fatal car accident. Wigmaking began as a way for me to stay connected to my creativity while navigating my new life as a caregiver. What I thought would simply be a creative outlet became Wiganometry.

I approached wigmaking the only way I knew how—as a hairstylist. I studied. I took classes in the U.S. and abroad. I learned traditional techniques, contemporary techniques and bespoke construction. And then I spent years listening to the women who actually wore my wigs.

What felt secure? What didn’t? Where did the fit fail? What made a wig beautiful on a mannequin but uncomfortable in real life?

Those answers changed the way I constructed wigs.

I began combining the precision and attention to fit found in bespoke wigmaking with the versatility of modern wig construction. Through years of refining, rebuilding and listening to my clients, The Wiganometry Method was born—my approach to hybrid wigmaking, where measurements, construction, hair, color, cut and style work together to create a wig that doesn’t simply look beautiful, but is designed for the woman wearing it.

Today, after more than three decades as a licensed hairstylist and over a decade dedicated to wigmaking, I bring everything I’ve learned behind the chair into every Wiganometry creation.

Because to me, a wig isn’t just hair. It’s fashion. It’s craftsmanship. And most importantly, it should feel like it was made with you in mind.
